Abstract: The research was done by sowing of the birdsfoot trefoil, variety Tera, examination of vegetation space in three variants using four norms of sowing over three years (2011-2013). The experiment was set southwest of Banjaluka (N44°39'52" E17°00'21", 526 m above sea level) Republic of Srpska / BiH. Climate parameters were monitored during three growing seasons. In the experiment was investigated the yield of green mass and seeds for three years of the use. Seeding depth was 2 cm. The first swath was used for green mass, a second swath for seed. The experiment was set up as a three factor view: year of use, the size of the growing area (25 cm and 50 cm row spacing, and sowing inadvertently); norm of the sowing (5 kg/ha, 10 kg/ha, 20 kg/ha and 30 kg/ha). The examination results of green mass and seeds show differences due to the application of different agricultural practices applied in this study. Statistics F-test showed differences within the basic factor tests, as well as their interaction effect. Yield of green mass was greatest in the first year of use, with a seeding rate of 20 kg/ ha , while the yield of seeds with the highest value was recorded in the second year of use, the sowing row spacing from 50 cm with the seeding rates of 10 kg/ ha . It is recommended sowing machine, because for inadvertently sowing in all three years were the lowest seed yield.
