Abstract: Realization of potential opportunities of export demands formation of the corresponding organizational and economic mechanism promoting increase in efficiency of logistic functions, improvement of infrastructure ensuring economic activity in this direction. In this work an assessment of dynamics of export of grain in Russia along with export of food products and agricultural raw materials is given. The analysis of change of volumes of deliveries in the import countries of the Russian grain taking into account the change in price on various consumers and cost of deliveries to various countries of the world is carried out. Trade opportunities of the leading top export of the Russian grain of which more than a half of export of grain production is the share are estimated. Infrastructure ensuring export of grain from positions of capacities for transfer of the Russian ports and dynamics of rail transportation taking into account the prices and profitability of supply of grain for export is studied. The long-term prospects of development of export of grain production taking into account the export potential of Russia in this external economic direction are analysed. In the long term the level of the world grain prices will be determined by the leading export countries of grain. The real export potential of the Russian Federation by 2030 is estimated at 48.3 million tons, value of export for national grain branch will increase.
